THE NORTH EAST RIVER YOUTH SAILING FOUNDATION
Is established to support access to sailing opportunities for children of all ages, abilities and economic means in the northern Chesapeake Bay region.
NERYSF breaks down participation barriers by offering the ability for youth to engage in as many areas as we can make possible.
NERYSF OFFERS:
• Sailing camp scholarships
• Support of training activities
• Provision of equipment & facilities
NERYSF SUPPORTS:
Organizations, programs & individuals who carry out educational and competitive activities consistent with the vision of “sailing for all youth.” We use sailing as a tool to nurture youth from all backgrounds to build self confidence and have an appreciation for amateur maritime sports.
OUR MISSION
To provide funding to enhance the potential of youth through sailing and related maritime education.
Our core principle is that all youth should have an opportunity to learn about sailing and to enjoy the Chesapeake Bay.
We believe that NERYSF can make a positive difference in the life of a young person through our activities.
The North East River Youth Sailing Foundation
is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization, and gifts to the foundation are deductible to the extent allowed by law.
