GRANTS

The Foundation provides support to individuals who are attending or have attended Sail Camp in the Northern Chesapeake Bay Region.  Sailors may request grants to offset the cost of sail camp sessions. Racing Sailors may request grants to offset training and regatta fees.

Age ranges are determined by the camp. Most provide programs for school age children (grades 1 – 12). Racing grants will be considered for applicants up to age 21.

The Foundation provides support to individuals applying to Northern Chesapeake Bay Region Sail Camps as instructors.  Most Sail Camps require US Sailing Small Boat Level 1 Instructor Certification. This course is a significant financial and academic commitment for the potential sail camp staff. NERYSF is committed to providing the most qualified instructors and coaches for the camps in our region.
